I co-founded Steambot around 2006, we started as a collective of friends and artists and rapidly became a well established concept design studio. We worked on some amazing projects and even if it ended sadly, I still have fond memories of that inspired and intense period.
The STEAMPAINTING: Spark book was our attempt at creating our own educational and publishing platform. Unlike Exodyssey (#DesignStudioPress), it focuses on the process and techniques we used to create concept art. I think it reflected our passion and enthusiasm for the community of concept art and offered a glimpse into our mindset and motivation at the time.
Here you can see some of the images I did for the project and I wanted to leave some of the texts and FAQ because they are still relevant today :)
